Bows by default have no damage mod at all. Poe is voidfletcher secondary dmg. Not dex, not str, none at all. You need to acquire feats or enhancements to give them a damage mod. Bow Strength: 'You add your Strength modifier to bow damage.' Note that's damage mod only - your attack mod remains as dex. Jan 30, 2019 From section 1 to 3, we've calculated how much damage you do on your weapon. But what about powders? What if powders were on your weapons? At this section, I'll introduce how damage is calculated while powders are on. Quick Note: Please use this thread's images to get the information of each powder, if you don't have one.

I have long been perplexed at the idea that high STR means this guy or girl gets a bonus to hit with a sword, and this person has high DEX so they are naturally better with bows.

Do Bows Do Dmg Based On Dex Or Str Three.houses FreeBeyond that, it’s worthwhile to remember that attributes as a concept at all is an arbitrary design decision that does not need to be in any specific game. Personally I think oD&D had it fairly good (at least for class-and-level based games) with class and level being the dominant traits and attributes being minor in terms of mechanical impact. But even then, the very concept of attributes does not need to be there.Do Bows Do Dmg Based On Dex Or Str Three.houses 2
Increasing bow damage by pumping Dex.
Hi everybody, I had a question about Dexterity and the dmage it increases from bows/X-bows. I hear people mentioning this all that time, that your damage increases for every 100 pts into Dex. But what I'm wondering is how can you tell that your damage is increasing? Does increased Dex. double the damage of your Bow? or does it increases the chances of your bow doing the max indicated damage? I was just wondering, because right now I have a lvl 42 Bowazon with a Kuko Shakaku bow that was doing around 508 max damage at Dex = 95. But when I leveled up and raised the Dex from 95 to 100 I didn't see an increase in bow damage oin my character screen. So that leads me to believe that adding Dex just raises the probability that my bow inflicts closer to the max damage of 508. Is that correct or am I way off? I tried doind a search about it, but the search returned a LOT of thread results. Any help would be appreciated TIA Comments are closed.
